CUTRIC-CRITUC is inviting interested transit agencies, utilities, original equipment manufacturers, and allied industry stakeholders, who are CUTRIC members, to the 12th session of CUTRIC's Joint Procurement Initiative, scheduled for 26th November 2020. This initiative focuses on developing a sustainable template for achieving joint procurement of Zero-Emission Buses by multiple transit agencies across Canada. This initiative will have options for both direct purchases as well as P3-styled venture to integrate the private sector in the financing, deployment, and maintenance of Electric Bus and supporting platforms across multiple jurisdictions across Canada through CUTRIC's Innovation P3 © (Public-Private-Partnership) model.
The focus of this session will be to explore the outcomes and feedback received on CUTRIC's proposed ZEB Committee ( a new initiative which will work closely with the Joint Procurement Initiative) and the outcomes of interviews with OEMs to provide an understanding of costs associated with Zero-emission buses, the charger and fueling infrastructure and additional considerations that transit agencies need to take into account, which will inform the development of our Joint Procurement Initiative. We would also be discussing the next steps to take this project forward. We look forward to welcoming your organization to this national project planning process.
Please note that this session will be restricted to CUTRIC members only.
