"It was an honour to participate and sponsor the virtual 2020 CUTRIC Conference. The conference brought together a broad set of stakeholders to engage and share perspectives. The CUTRIC team is revolutionizing the way we look at the transit industry and playing a key role in accelerating transit electrification."
- Theresa Cooke, Vice President, Business Development, Siemens
"The CUTRIC Conference could not have come at a more pivotal time. Sharing messages of solidarity with fellow transit leaders and ensuring not just our stakeholders, but also transit users, that recovery is on the horizon was very meaningful for us at TransLink. Thanks for a great conference, CUTRIC!"
- Kevin Desmond, Former CEO, TransLink
Complete our Gender Parity in Transit Study
In the Canadian transit industry, research clearly shows there is a stark difference between the number of women in senior leadership positions compared to men. We know these disparities exist, but we are less clear on why these disparities continue to persist.
At CUTRIC, one of the ways in which we have committed to gender and racial equity has translated into a research partnership with the University of Windsor. This has allowed us to engage in learning more about the complexities of workplace environments.
To increase the number of women in senior leadership positions, we need to understand the experiences of all individuals with different identities who are currently working in transit so we can make informed recommendations to transit organizations about best practices, policy and strategy.
Today, we invite you to complete a short online survey to learn more about the social and organizational context that you work in.
The survey is open to anyone, in any role, who works in the transit industry in Canada. It is anonymous. We do not ask for your name or your organization.
We will be sharing back the findings of our research in the fall of 2021.
